Was there anything that stuck with you after Revolutionary Road?
It was one of the more emotionally painful movies. It was depressing, making this film, I have to say. As great as it was to work with Kate, I was happy to get out of…not happy to wrap the film, but happy to stop arguing with my wife for months straight, confined in a tiny suburban house. .-Leo

The sort of mutual respect that we had for each other before we started working together really did lend itself to the beginning of a great friendship because it was built on very strong foundations. It was nothing to do with fancying the other one, or any sort of flirting, or anything like that, that just never happened. And I think that’s part of the reason why the friendship has always been so sincere.
